Master-gate read (the load-bearing recalibration): pulled the biotech ETF gauges — XBI RSI 45, −2.8% 30d, weak-down, below SMA20 (broad biotech funding appetite); IBB RSI 46 weak-down; ARKG RSI 67, +11% 30d, strong-up (narrow innovation-genomics, holds TWST/CRSP/RXRX/TEM/PACB). So the move that prompted the user's excitement (TWST running) is a narrow genomics-theme front-run, NOT the funding cycle turning — the capital-markets gate (domino #1) is shut. This sharpens the open-day finding: not "rotation underway" but "a thematic sliver running ahead of a gate that hasn't opened." Positioning stays: don't chase fallen high-beta (TWST/ABSI); un-fallen domino is mega-cap quality (TMO/DHR/MEDP); flip only when XBI breaks out.

Architecture note: the board lives as a perspective watch_for-style surface (thesis tracker). The crisp binary gate (XBI breakout) could optionally be promoted to a first-class research/signals/ regime event (trigger/invalidation/calibration/state_log, informs: biotech-capital-cycle) per signal-as-first-class-event — offered, not done, to respect the "no more artifacts unless needed" steer.
