MMMTwealth 20-longs list triage
MMMTwealth 20-longs list triage
Question: Is the @MMMTwealth "20 longs I have conviction in" list (2026-06-26) actionable for our trend-hold book — and how does each name sit against our existing coverage?
Verdict: A high-quality idea list, but mostly not actionable for us today. It is — by the author's own framing ("Not posting this at ATHs like most did") — a beaten-down-conviction list, and the tape confirms it: most names are 25–70% off their 52-week highs. By our trend-hold rule (buy durable secular uptrends on confirmation, not falling knives), only 3 of 20 are BUY-eligible right now — LLY, LEU, SEI — the names where a durable thesis AND a confirmed uptrend coincide. Most of the rest are good theses on broken tapes = WATCH. Five are AVOID (pre-revenue spec, deep falling knives, an illiquid OTC, and one house "stinker"). Source-class note: @MMMTwealth is a CPA newsletter writer; we judged each thesis on its own merits, not the messenger.
What we're asking
The user forwarded four tweets: the @MMMTwealth 20-name list (the spine), plus
@kevinxu and @jiahanjimliu on $OUST (→ its own deep-dive,
2026-06-28-oust-deep-dive.md) and a @itsmichaelluu robotics basket (skip-class;
mostly names we already hold + penny junk). The ask: research/bg-research every
name and assemble one report, folding in the user's own calls. Method per name:
thesis + our coverage + quality + tape + a trend-hold verdict.
The user's own takes, folded in below: LLY "is good"; ABCL "great as a company, idk if as a stock (almost worked there)"; COIN "too crypto-centric… but maybe a good momentum play since crypto is cyclical — I'm using HOOD instead for the crypto bounce-back trade; I also bank with them and use their card, it's great, undervalued imo."
Price-truth provenance: all price / RSI / 30-day / off-52wk-high figures are
internal price truth from research/market-engine/data/summaries/*.json (settled
Fri 2026-06-26 close) for covered names, with the uncovered names (DLO, HROW,
ZETA, SAIL, TMQ, CTGO, SREMF) pulled fresh via the engine's managed fetcher into
the OHLC store and read the same way; RSI/SMA/trend are engine-computed
(precompute / leading). Code does the math — no prose recomputation.

What we found — the cross-cuts
This is a "fallen-conviction" list, not a momentum list. The author flags it himself, and the tape agrees: ~15 of 20 are well off their highs (TMQ −70%, CTGO −54%, SAIL −45%, TEM −46%, LMND −41%, ZETA −27%, DLO/HROW/OUST ~−18-24%). For a book that buys confirmed uptrends, "great thesis, broken tape" is a WATCH by construction — independent of whether the thesis is right.
Only 3 names clear our bar today: LLY, LEU, SEI. These are the only ones where a durable, profitable (or near-profitable) franchise sits in a confirmed uptrend (↑ > SMA20, near highs, healthy-not-blown-out RSI). All three are already in our lanes — LLY (healthcare/peptide), LEU (our explicit nuclear-fuel-cycle upstream pick), SEI (ai-power). The list's best ideas are ones we already own the thesis on.
ABCL is the lone spec name actually breaking out — which answers the user's "idk if as a stock." At $7.38 it is at its 52-week high (+36%/30d). The stock is unambiguously working right now; the catch is purely entry timing — RSI 76 / a near-vertical month is a poor risk/reward candle to chase. The trend-hold move that honors the user's company conviction: wait for the flag, then a spec-sized starter on the breakout, not the spike.
The uncovered names sort cleanly. Of the 7 with no watchlist home, HROW (real EBITDA + ~50% CAGR, the best business of the uncovered set) and DLO (profitable EM-payments rails) are worth opening coverage on; the rest are spec/avoid — TMQ/CTGO are deep falling knives, SREMF is an illiquid OTC (liquidity is a hard disqualifier regardless of thesis), SAIL/ZETA are real businesses but on broken tapes to track for a turn.
We already cover 14 of 20. Heavy overlap confirms the desk is mapped onto the same secular themes (physical-AI, rare earth, nuclear fuel cycle, copper, PQC, power). Coverage gaps to consider: HROW, DLO (open); ZETA, SAIL (watch).
Bucket A — tech / AI / healthcare appliers
$AAOI — Applied Optoelectronics, optical/datacom transceiver maker
- MMMTwealth thesis: 75% haircut to mgmt's 2028 forecast still leaves ~2.6x 2028 sales — cheap if the ~9x revenue ramp lands.
- Our coverage: optical-supply-chain watchlist (CPO/datacom interconnect lane).
- Quality: lottery — the thesis itself is a 75%-risk-factor bet on a 9x ramp; lumpy, low-margin, customer-concentrated transceiver shop.
- Tape: $135.69, RSI 38, 30d −24.5%, ↓<SMA20 — falling knife mid-downtrend.
- Verdict: AVOID — a forecast-priced lottery on a confirmed downtrend is the exact setup we skip. Revisit on a base + SMA20 reclaim.
$LLY — Eli Lilly, GLP-1 / metabolic pharma franchise
- MMMTwealth thesis: $1T cap could look cheap in 5yr given Lilly's grip on drug discovery / metabolic.
- Our coverage: healthcare / biotech / peptide-economy (core).
- Quality: durable — profitable, dominant incretin franchise, secular obesity tailwind.
- Tape: $1208, RSI 67, 30d +11.6%, ↑>SMA20, near 52wk high — clean confirmed uptrend with room.
- Verdict: BUY-eligible — durable franchise making new highs; add on flags, don't chase a vertical day.
- User note: "lly is good" — agreed, and the cleanest thesis-and-tape alignment on the whole list.
$LMND — Lemonade, AI-native insurance
- MMMTwealth thesis: long ~18mo, 10+yr hold, unit economics trending right.
- Our coverage: holdings-stocks.
- Quality: spec — improving but still GAAP-unprofitable insurer; loss-ratio/execution risk.
- Tape: $58.86, RSI 68, 30d +3.9%, ↑>SMA20, but ~−41% off the $99.90 high — recovery off a deep drawdown, not a name at highs.
- Verdict: WATCH — above SMA20 (not a knife) but the larger trend is still being repaired. Track the recovery; don't anchor entry to the 10-yr story.
$DLO — DLocal, emerging-market cross-border payments
- MMMTwealth thesis: conservative EM-payments model → ~3.5x from here.
- Our coverage: uncovered — coverage gap (EM-fintech lane unowned).
- Quality: spec — real, profitable EM rails but FX/regulatory/take-rate + EM-concentration volatility.
- Tape: $12.69, RSI 73 (hot), 30d +10.3%, ↑>SMA20, ~−24% off high — right shape, but extended here.
- Verdict: WATCH — closest uncovered name to eligible; buying RSI 73 is chasing. Wait for a flag that holds SMA20. Worth opening coverage.
$TEM — Tempus AI, AI diagnostics / genomics
- MMMTwealth thesis: sum-of-parts $16-18B vs MC under $10B.
- Our coverage: biotech-capital-cycle + ai-scan (IPO-window re-rate lane).
- Quality: spec — high-growth, unprofitable; SOTP is optionality, not earnings.
- Tape: $56.14, RSI 68, 30d +19%, ↑>SMA20, but ~−46% off the $104.32 high — sharp bounce inside a still-broken trend.
- Verdict: WATCH — 46% off high caps it at WATCH regardless of the SOTP gap; the snapback isn't yet a durable reclaimed uptrend.
$ABCL — AbCellera, AI antibody / drug-discovery platform
- MMMTwealth thesis: moonshot on AI drug discovery, already +50%.
- Our coverage: biotech-capital-cycle + holdings-stocks.
- Quality: spec — pre-profit platform/royalty model; cash-rich, earnings years away. Optionality.
- Tape: $7.38, RSI 76 (overbought), 30d +35.7%, ↑>SMA20, ~−0.3% off high = AT the 52wk high — genuine but near-vertical breakout.
- Verdict: WATCH (the only spec name making new highs — closest spec to BUY-eligible). New-high breakout is the entry signal, but RSI 76 / +36% is the vertical you let flag, not the candle you chase. Buy the flag; size as spec.
- User note: "great company, idk if as a stock (almost worked there)." The tape resolves "as a stock" in the bull's favor right now — it's literally at its high. The doubt isn't the company, it's entry timing; wait for the consolidation, then a starter fits both your conviction and our discipline.
$HROW — Harrow Inc, commercial ophthalmic pharma
- MMMTwealth thesis: ~17x NTM EBITDA for ~50% EBITDA CAGR through 2029/30.
- Our coverage: uncovered — coverage gap (specialty-pharma lane unowned).
- Quality: durable (caveat) — real revenue + EBITDA + credible ramp, but a levered small-cap. More business than the biotech-spec names here.
- Tape: $42.07, RSI 83 (very overbought), 30d +22%, ↑>SMA20, ~−23% off high — strong uptrend but a blow-off RSI.
- Verdict: WATCH — best business/valuation pairing of the uncovered three; RSI 83 is an extreme-chase entry. Wait for the pullback/flag. Worth opening coverage.
$ZETA — Zeta Global, AI marketing / ad-tech
- MMMTwealth thesis: 10x NTM EBITDA for ~26% CAGR; capital flows to AI "appliers."
- Our coverage: uncovered — coverage gap (AI-applier/ad-tech lane unowned).
- Quality: spec — adj-EBITDA-positive but GAAP-unprofitable, with a prior short-report overhang.
- Tape: $18.98, RSI 32 (near oversold), 30d −2.5%, ↓<SMA20, ~−27% off high — downtrend, basing-not-confirmed.
- Verdict: WATCH — cheap-EBITDA applier thesis is fine, but below SMA20 = WATCH by rule. Not eligible until it bases and reclaims SMA20.
$SAIL — SailPoint, identity security (agentic-identity)
- MMMTwealth thesis: better identity play for the agentic wave — notably he holds no position today.
- Our coverage: uncovered — coverage gap (identity-security lane unowned).
- Quality: durable (caveat) — sticky recurring-revenue franchise, but freshly re-public with lockup/dilution dynamics resolving.
- Tape: $13.18, RSI 16 (extreme oversold/capitulation), 30d −15.3%, ↓<SMA20, ~−45% off the $24.00 high — textbook capitulation.
- Verdict: WATCH (no entry) — 45% off high + RSI 16 + below SMA20 is a falling knife; we buy confirmation, not capitulation, and even the author has no position. Track for the turn.
Bucket B — commodities / materials / energy / crypto / quantum
$TMQ — Trilogy Metals, copper-zinc developer (Ambler district, Alaska)
- MMMTwealth thesis: higher-risk copper play to pair with COPX (the "safer" leg).
- Our coverage: uncovered (the copper macro lives in COPX/macro-commodities).
- Quality: pre-revenue — development-stage explorer; whole NPV hinges on the contested Ambler access-road permit. Not an operating company.
- Tape: $3.36, RSI 37, 30d −23.3%, ↓<SMA20, ~−70% off the $11.29 high — deep falling knife.
- Verdict: AVOID — pre-revenue, −70% off, below SMA20; catching this is gambling. For copper, use the basket (COPX).
$COPX — Global X Copper Miners ETF
- MMMTwealth thesis: long-term macro copper (electrification/grid deficit) — the "safer" leg vs TMQ.
- Our coverage: macro-commodities, market-pulse.
- Quality: durable — basket of producing miners; expresses the macro without single-mine binary risk.
- Tape: $76.18, RSI 43, 30d −11.5%, ↓<SMA20, ~−11% off high — orderly pullback, but below SMA20.
- Verdict: WATCH — best-quality copper vehicle + real secular thesis, but below SMA20 now. Flips BUY-eligible on a held SMA20 reclaim.
$SREMF — Scandium International Mining (OTC scandium developer)
- MMMTwealth thesis: "few know the importance of scandium" — under-the-radar critical-materials bet.
- Our coverage: uncovered (rightly so — see liquidity).
- Quality: lottery — pre-revenue OTC micro-cap, thinly traded; scandium has no scaled demand market yet.
- Tape: $12.51, RSI 71 (overbought), 30d +10.7%, ↑>SMA20, ~−14% off high — thin-tape pop into overbought.
- Verdict: AVOID — illiquid OTC disqualifies it for a real book (can't size in/out without moving it). Liquidity is the hard stop.
$USAR — USA Rare Earth (magnets + Round Top deposit)
- MMMTwealth thesis: rare-earth single-point-of-failure (China export-control risk); pair with MP.
- Our coverage: monster-discoveries.
- Quality: spec — pre-revenue; building magnet-making + the Round Top heavy-REE deposit. Lower-quality leg of the pair.
- Tape: $20.47, RSI 43, 30d −23.3%, ↓<SMA20 — sharp pullback, broken near-term tape.
- Verdict: WATCH (lean AVOID) — theme is real but this vehicle is pre-revenue and ↓<SMA20. MP is the operating expression of the same thesis.
$MP — MP Materials (only scaled US rare-earth producer)
- MMMTwealth thesis: rare-earth single-point-of-failure pair (with USAR).
- Our coverage: robotics, supply-chain-traces.
- Quality: durable (highest of the pair) — Mountain Pass + Independence magnet facility, real revenue, DoD price-floor/offtake.
- Tape: RSI ~41, in a pullback/consolidation, ~−46% off high — off-high but not a TMQ/CTGO-style knife.
- Verdict: WATCH — right vehicle, quality franchise, mid-pullback. BUY-eligible on a confirmed uptrend reclaim. Preferred over USAR.
$LEU — Centrus Energy (US uranium enrichment → HALEU)
- MMMTwealth thesis: only US company that can enrich to HALEU; "at a key level."
- Our coverage: ai-power, defense-contractors, nuclear-fuel-cycle — one of OUR explicit upstream picks (nuclear demand via the fuel cycle, not pre-rev SMR devs).
- Quality: durable — only US-owned/-operated enricher, effective HALEU monopoly for advanced reactors, real revenue + DOE contracts. Highest-quality name on the list.
- Tape: $165.52, RSI 52, 30d −8.1%, ↓<SMA20, ~−8% off high — shallow pullback near highs, structure intact.
- Verdict: BUY-eligible — durable franchise we already favor, only −8% off high, neutral RSI; wait for the SMA20 reclaim to confirm, but this is the strongest thesis+tape combo here and matches our house pick.
$CTGO — Contango Ore (small-cap Alaska gold/silver miner)
- MMMTwealth thesis: explicitly high-risk 5yr+ silver play; concedes HL/SLV are "far safer."
- Our coverage: uncovered (precious-metals isn't a tracked lane).
- Quality: spec — tiny high-cost single-asset Alaska producer (Manh Choh JV).
- Tape: $15.74, RSI 45, 30d −20.8%, ↓<SMA20, ~−54% off the $34.38 high — deep falling knife.
- Verdict: AVOID — −54% off in a downtrend on a spec micro-cap; the thesis itself flags safer proxies (SLV/HL).
$LAES — SEALSQ (post-quantum-crypto secure chips)
- MMMTwealth thesis: small bet on Q-Day (~2029/2030); "could be too early, will monitor."
- Our coverage: quantum-computing + our 2026-06-25 deep-dive — standing verdict WATCH, conviction LOW: real-but-small business ($18.3M FY25 rev, ~$428M cash) but a multi-year-broken, dilution-funded foreign small-cap. It's the security adjacency (PQC chips), NOT a quantum-compute pure-play.
- Quality: spec — real product + big cash cushion, but lumpy revenue and the cash is equity-issuance-funded.
- Tape: $3.12, RSI 48, 30d −10.3%, ↓<SMA20 — wiggle inside a still-broken multi-year downtrend.
- Verdict: WATCH — matches our deep-dive exactly; MMMTwealth's own "small / too early / monitor" agrees. Track for a base + SMA200 reclaim on PQC-adoption evidence; don't own yet.
$SMR — NuScale Power (small modular reactor developer)
- MMMTwealth thesis: higher-risk SMR bet; "small position deep in the red."
- Our coverage: ai-infrastructure, ai-scan, nuclear-fuel-cycle — but explicitly a house "stinker" we do NOT favor (we own nuclear upstream via LEU/CCJ + utilities, not pre-rev SMR devs OKLO/SMR/NNE).
- Quality: spec/lottery — pre-revenue, no operating reactor, years from deployment; valuation is pure narrative.
- Tape: $10.10, RSI 47, 30d −16.3%, ↓<SMA20 — downtrend.
- Verdict: AVOID — our explicit house view, pre-revenue, broken tape; even the thesis-holder is "deep in the red." Own the nuclear thesis upstream via LEU.
$COIN — Coinbase (dominant US crypto exchange)
- MMMTwealth thesis: when stablecoin revenue decouples from crypto price, COIN is a big beneficiary (USDC reserve-interest income).
- Our coverage: crypto.
- Quality: durable but cyclical — profitable dominant exchange; the USDC-interest line genuinely decouples from trading volume (rate-sensitive), but earnings still swing with the crypto cycle.
- Tape: $149.06, RSI 48, 30d −14.2%, ↓<SMA20, ~−14% off high — pullback below trend.
- Verdict: WATCH — quality franchise + differentiated stablecoin angle, but ↓<SMA20 in a cyclical name; wait for trend reclaim.
- User note: You're fundamentally bullish on Coinbase the company (bank with them, like the card, "undervalued") but are running the crypto-bounce trade through HOOD, not COIN — the right vehicle call: HOOD is the diversified retail-momentum proxy, COIN the higher-beta crypto-pure read. The stablecoin-decoupling angle is the COIN-specific differentiator, but it doesn't change the tape — COIN stays WATCH, and there's no need to double crypto-bounce exposure when HOOD already carries it.
$SEI — Solaris Energy Infrastructure (distributed / datacenter mobile power)
- MMMTwealth thesis: play on the power theme; up 2x already, "still holding."
- Our coverage: ai-power, spacex-s1-supply-chain.
- Quality: durable/momentum — mobile turbine fleet leasing into datacenter + oilfield demand; real revenue, squarely in our ai-power lane.
- Tape: $76.80, RSI 59 (healthy), 30d +7.6%, ↑>SMA20, ~−11% off high — the only name here in a clean confirmed uptrend besides LLY.
- Verdict: BUY-eligible — confirmed uptrend above SMA20, healthy RSI, real power-demand thesis in our lane. "Up 2x, still holding" = let-winners-run. The other clean BUY-eligible alongside LLY and LEU.
Verdict + reasoning
If you traded this list to our rules today, you'd act on three names and watch the rest.
- BUY-eligible now (thesis + tape both clear): LLY, LEU, SEI. All durable, all in confirmed uptrends, all already in our lanes. Add on flags, not vertical days. LEU specifically is already our nuclear-fuel-cycle upstream pick.
- The highest-quality WATCH names (track for confirmation): MP (rare-earth, on a pullback — preferred over USAR), COPX (the copper vehicle vs the TMQ knife), COIN (you're correctly expressing crypto-bounce via HOOD instead), OUST (best-moat physical-AI perception, but pre-profit/expensive — full deep-dive filed), and ABCL (the lone breakout — buy the flag, spec-sized, which honors your company conviction without chasing RSI 76).
- AVOID: AAOI (forecast-lottery on a downtrend), TMQ / CTGO (deep falling-knife developers — use COPX / SLV instead), SREMF (illiquid OTC), SMR (our house "stinker" — own nuclear upstream via LEU).
- Coverage to open (uncovered + quality): HROW and DLO. Both real businesses the desk doesn't track yet; SAIL and ZETA are worth watching for a turn but are on broken tapes. (Recommended, not auto-added — these are scattered single names, not a theme basket; say the word and I'll add HROW/DLO to fitting watchlists.)
The meta-point: the list's best ideas (LLY, LEU, SEI, MP, OUST, the nuclear/rare-earth/power/physical-AI themes) are ones we already cover — which is a coverage-validation, not a miss. Where MMMTwealth diverges from us is risk appetite: he's comfortable buying deep-drawdown pre-revenue developers (TMQ/CTGO/SREMF/USAR/SMR) on a 5-year horizon; our trend-hold book deliberately isn't. Source-class held: judged on merits, ~3 actionable / several watch / 5 avoid — a useful idea-surface, not a buy list.
