Hi all, About 10 years ago I was getting my MS in finance and got really into options and derivatives. There was a website we used to use to look at profit/loss charts of the various different options trades. It was all encompassing and I remember there being about 15 or so different charts, maybe even more. They ranged from long call to condors, butterflies, etc. I’m studying for my Series 7 now and have gotten to the options section that discusses spread trades and I don’t necessarily love the explanation I am…

Probably really dumb i'm typing this on the train home after a really long day. Looking at sndk options expiring feb 19 2027. If you buy a $600 put and sell a $1000 put and a $1470 call that is a combined total premium of 440 (i used the mid prices) That's a min profit of $4000 with SNDK at $600 or below and a breakeven with SNDK at $1910. So max profit would be $44000 for this trade. It's already up over 2000% in the last year do you think it can do another 100% in the next year for a 4000% increase in 2 years?…
Weird SNDK play Idea.
I started experimenting with SPY 0dt strangles a couple weeks ago. consistently made profits until last week when I lost all profits plus change on one bad day. wondering if anyone here plays strangles and what are your favorite tickers and strategy to play these

Anyone exclusively playing strangles?
I have been doing wheeling for some time but feels like not worth the time and work. Also it is difficult to select good and stable stocks to wheel on. I have been doing telecommunications stocks like AMT, VZ, comcast and Chtr but was burned by chtr and “riskier” stocks like robinhood and other LETFs. How do you really know the stocks you selected won’t suffer from declining business and therefore declining stock price? If the stock you selected is volatile enough you might as well just buy on dip or do some swing…
Is wheeling worth it?
I personally am looking to load up on puts that are 9 months out to 1 year in both stocks and etfs. I think there is a good possibility for a pullback so id be curious to hear what your doing if you share this sentiment. Soxl and some of the blowout top names like sndk come to mind? Anyone care to discuss? I did the same thing last year with names like applovin and others when they were over 700$ Cheers

All the defending and rolling couldn't solve my iron condor issue - one big loser wiping out all the small winners. Even though Tastytrade taught me so much, they also led me down a path I couldn't make work. Chasing those high win rates. Well, what finally worked for me was to make a rule where I just take the iron condor off if one of the short options hits .50 delta or higher. Simple. 50% max profit or .50 delta, gone. I don't get knocked out of the trade just because of a vol spike - and I don't wait until…
I can't believe it took me 12 years to figure out my iron condor problem
**THE THEORY** President Trump keeps posting that his blockade is costing a certain oil-rich nation $500M per day. But what if they said "hold my tea" and found the cheat code in America's own stock market? *Trump's actual Truth Social posts (April 22, 2026):* *"[They] don't want the Strait of Hormuz closed; they want it open so they can make $500 million a day (which is, therefore, what they are losing if it is closed!)"* And the follow up post: *"[They are] collapsing financially! They want the…
Someone has been farming SPX 0DTE options with fake geopolitical headlines all week - receipts here.
Hi all, I have one Intel LEAPS call option that I bought in summer last year. Paid $1.35 and at close it was $33.13. Given the earnings beat and upwards move AH, I’m trying to decide whether to finally exit. I realize taking the win is likely the smart thing but the momentum in the space is also crazy and there is a possibility this is just getting started (which I know is crazy to say.. given the recent rise)?

Intel LEAPS holders - sell or hold?
There was no strategy involved; I just saw that it had risen too much, just like BYND last year. I shorted it three times and finally succeeded—a 2,866% return. https://preview.redd.it/mwzq2hhwp0xg1.png?width=3000&format=png&auto=webp&s=80829fb0c3087e572c0e888f707827a020778dc5
