Brittle means a bigger move per unit of news, not a direction. The long end at 2007 yields, a Treasury blink at a level (not a dysfunction), bonds no longer hedging stocks, one print moving a whole lane 8–20% — all true. Credit flat, banks near highs, the index rotating — also true. Credit is the one thing that turns brittle into breaking.
Do: let the 20-day/200-day decide holds and exits · hold bills as a position · respect the long end until TLT closes above its 20-day · treat HYG under its 200-day as the only trigger · size the AI-hardware lane for Korean velocity · enter the rotation on pullbacks · harvest cartographers' numbers, ignore their calls · calendar the auctions, Nov 4, FOMC, BoJ. Don't: buy a group's dip on a −8% day one, or sell the trend on day one · hold leveraged ETFs as investments · chase refiners at RSI 80 or miners on an up-8% day · run a "Treasury collapse" trade off threads · read a tail, a buyback or a TIC print as a crash signal · call a buyback QE · grade a thesis by what a portfolio holds.
