AI Infrastructure Scan
AI Infrastructure Scan
Data as-of 2026-07-10 close. This scan now runs on a much broader universe than the 2026-07-07 version — the watchlist has expanded from a 9-name chip/hyperscaler basket (NVDA, AMZN, ASML, TSM, PLTR, MRVL, ARM, TAC, P) to a 52-name physical AI-buildout chain covering power/nuclear, cooling and electrical infrastructure, networking/optical components, data-center REITs, materials, and compute/memory supply chain. There is zero ticker overlap between the two versions, so this report cannot do a name-for-name diff against 07-07 — instead it establishes this wider universe as the new baseline. On first read, the power/nuclear cluster (CEG, OKLO, SMR) is the weakest part of the board — all three are death-crossed and deep off their highs — while networking/optical names (CRDO, ANET, EXTR, ATEN, FFIV) and semis-capex compute names (MU, DELL, ICHR) are running the hottest, several 50-140% above their average buyer's cost basis.
FROTH READ: pricePctVsVwap tells you how far current price sits above/below the average buyer's cost basis across the instrument's history.
Quick Snapshot
| Signal | Reading |
|---|---|
| Overall | 🟡 Mixed — physical-buildout names (networking, compute, industrial) mostly healthy; power/nuclear cluster is the clear laggard |
| Universe change | Watchlist expanded from 9 chip/hyperscaler names to 52 covering the full AI physical-buildout chain — no overlap with the 07-07 scan, so treat this as a new baseline, not a like-for-like update |
| Weakest cluster | Power/nuclear — CEG (-39.1% off high, collapse), OKLO (-74.8%, downtrend), SMR (-84.3%, downtrend) — all death-crossed |
| Hottest names | ICHR (+140.4% vs VWAP), DELL (+124.2%), MU (+102.3%), NBIS (+74.0%), EXTR (+66.3%), CRDO (+60.7%) — all running well above fair value |
| Oversold tier (25-40 RSI) | OKLO (38.6), SMR (39.8), WOLF (38.4), GNRC (39.0), OSS (37.4) — all structurally weak, not constructive dip-buys |
What's Going On
This is effectively a new scan. The 2026-07-07 "ai-infrastructure" report tracked a tight 9-name basket built around chips and hyperscalers (NVDA, AMZN, ASML, TSM, PLTR, MRVL, ARM, TAC, and Pandora). The watchlist behind this scan has since been rebuilt into a much broader 52-name universe covering the physical side of the AI buildout: power generation and nuclear (CEG, VST, TLN, OKLO, SMR, NEE, FSLR), cooling and electrical infrastructure (VRT, TT, ETN, MOD, PWR, EME, FIX, JCI, GNRC), materials and water (CAT, VMC, MLM, FCX, SCCO, ECL, AWK, XYL), networking and optical components (CRDO, GLW, ANET, LITE, CLS, TEL, APH, NOK, ERIC, FFIV, ATEN, EXTR, NTAP, CBRS), data-center REITs and towers (EQIX, DLR, AMT), and the compute/memory/semis-capex supply chain (MU, DELL, INTC, WOLF, ON, ICHR, TER, CRWV, NBIS, OSS, BRUN). None of the original nine names carry over, so there is no valid week-over-week comparison to make — this report instead establishes the new 52-name universe as the baseline going forward.
Reading the new universe cold: the power/nuclear cluster is the clear weak spot. CEG sits in a confirmed "collapse" regime, -39.1% off its 52-week high; OKLO and SMR are both death-crossed downtrends at -74.8% and -84.3% off their highs respectively — the same names that showed up as the worst damage in the ai-scan report above. By contrast, the networking/optical and compute/memory clusters are running hot: CRDO, ANET, EXTR, ATEN, and FFIV are all in confirmed uptrends near their 52-week highs, while ICHR, DELL, MU, and NBIS are all trading 70-140% above their average buyer's cost basis — extended, but in clean uptrends rather than broken ones.
The data-center REITs (EQIX, DLR) and towers (AMT) sit in the middle — basing/pullback regimes, moderate RSI in the mid-40s, none death-crossed on the REIT side. Materials names (CAT, VMC, ECL, AWK) are mostly steady, unremarkable "basing"/"pullback" reads with nothing extreme in either direction — the boring, investable middle of this universe.
What Changed Since the 2026-07-07 Scan
Not directly comparable. The 07-07 "ai-infrastructure" scan covered AMZN, NVDA, ASML, TAC, TSM, PLTR, MRVL, ARM, and P — none of which appear in this scan's universe. (NVDA, AMZN, ASML, TSM, PLTR, MRVL, and ARM are now tracked under the ai-scan watchlist instead — see that report above for their current reads.) Rather than force a false comparison, this scan starts a fresh baseline for the expanded 52-name physical-buildout universe. Future runs of this scan will diff against this report.
How To Read The Board
RSI < 30 = capitulation zone (check trend/death-cross before treating as a buy). RSI 30-40 = oversold but often still structurally weak in this universe. RSI 40-70 = neutral-to-healthy. RSI > 70 = extended. "vs VWAP" measures distance from the average buyer's cost basis — the further above 0%, the more "paid up" the current price is relative to its own trading history.

Read: This is the hottest cluster in the scan. FFIV, ATEN, and EXTR are all within a few percent of their 52-week highs with RSI in the mid-to-upper 60s; EXTR is essentially at its high (-0.06%). CRDO stands out for cooling hard this week (-7.3%) after a huge 91.9% three-month run — worth watching for whether this is healthy digestion or a real top.

Read: This cluster has the widest spread in the whole scan — ICHR and DELL are the two most extended names in the entire universe (both over +120% above VWAP), while WOLF just had the single worst week of any name here (-16.1% 7D, -22.5% 30D). OSS is the one name here in the oversold tier with genuinely weak structure — not a clean dip-buy.
Tier Analysis
Capitulation (RSI < 25)
None.
Oversold (RSI 25-40)
OKLO (38.6), SMR (39.8), WOLF (38.4), GNRC (39.0), OSS (37.4). All five are in confirmed down-trending or too-young regimes with real structural damage (OKLO/SMR death-crossed and 74-84% off their highs) — none of these read as constructive dip-buys on the tape alone.
Neutral-Strong (RSI 40+)
The remaining 47 names, spanning fair-value basing (materials, REITs) through genuinely extended uptrends (networking/optical, compute/memory).

What To Watch Next
- Whether this expanded 52-name universe is the durable version of the ai-infrastructure scan going forward, or gets refined further — worth confirming with the watchlist owner before the next comparison cycle.
- Whether CEG/OKLO/SMR stabilize or keep deteriorating — all three are also flagged as the worst damage in the parallel ai-scan report.
- Whether CRDO's cooldown is healthy digestion after its 92% three-month run or the start of a real pullback.
- ICHR and DELL's extreme extension (120%+ above VWAP) — watch for the first sign of digestion.
