SemiAnalysis — Google's GPU cloud climbs to Gold in ClusterMAX, but CoreWeave and Nebius are still the Platinum names it holds up as the bar

SemiAnalysis's ClusterMAX ratings are the closest thing the GPU rental market has to an independent quality grade, and this round keeps CoreWeave and Nebius in its Platinum tier while Google moved from Bronze to Gold in under two years, per the post. For the neocloud thesis the question is how long a hyperscaler needs to close an operational lead; the same week SemiAnalysis credited Lambda with fixing the reliability gaps it flagged in the prior round, so the moat is narrowing from more than one side.
