LCID fully round-tripped last scan's reversal into an outright explosion — RSI jumped from 45.1 to 63.2 on a +32.61% weekly pop (+37.31% 30D) — the sharpest single-name move anywhere in this watchlist. It's the one bright spot in an otherwise broadly weak group: 13 of the 22 names now sit in the 25-40 oversold band, the most crowded oversold reading of any scan this week. BE and TE both kept breaking down — BE fell another -12.12% (RSI 43.0→39.0, still golden-cross and thesis "intact" per the engine despite the continued deterioration) and TE fell a second straight double-digit week (-14.74%, RSI 39.4→34.7). The Chinese EV cohort (LI, NIO, XPEV, BYDDY) was the other pocket of relief, with all four posting positive 7-day reads for the first time in two scans.

Quick Snapshot

Signal Reading
Overall 🔴 Broadly weak — 13 of 22 names sit in the oversold band with no basing evidence — but LCID's explosive reversal and a stabilizing Chinese EV cohort are notable exceptions.
Key insight LCID's RSI jumped 18 points in a week (45.1→63.2, +32.61% 7D) — the single sharpest reversal in the batch — while BE and TE both continue breaking down for a second straight scan.

What's Going On

This was a mixed, mostly weak week for the group. LCID is the standout: after fully giving back its prior pop last scan, it exploded +32.61% this week, pushing RSI from 45.1 to 63.2 and the 30-day change to +37.31% — by far the sharpest single move in the batch, and a clear chase-risk signal after such an extended run. BE and TE, both already breaking down last scan, kept falling: BE is down another -12.12% (RSI 43.0→39.0), still golden-cross and still flagged thesis "intact" by the engine, but the chart itself shows no sign of stabilizing. TE fell -14.74% on top of last scan's -24.20% collapse, RSI now down to 34.7 — two consecutive brutal weeks with no reversal evidence. The broader solar/lithium/industrial cohort (ALB, LIT, PLUG, FSLR, DRIV, KARS, TAN, ICLN, ENS, SQM, ENPH, NXT) stayed weak across the board, with ALB (28.3) and LIT (29.0) the deepest oversold prints. The one pocket of relief was the Chinese EV cohort: LI, NIO, XPEV, and BYDDY all posted positive weekly changes, a reversal from last scan's uniformly negative reads, though none has reclaimed its 200-day average yet.

What Changed Since Prior Scan (2026-07-11 → 2026-07-17)

  • LCID exploded: RSI 45.1→63.2, price $5.55→$7.36, 7D -10.77%→+32.61%, 30D +7.35%→+37.31%.
  • BE kept breaking down: RSI 43.0→39.0, 7D -18.90%→-12.12%, 30D -1.72%→-34.64% — still golden-cross, still thesis "intact" per the engine, but the chart keeps deteriorating.
  • TE fell again: RSI 39.4→34.7, 7D -24.20%→-14.74%, 30D -19.13%→-37.54% — two straight double-digit weekly declines.
  • Chinese EV cohort turned positive: BYDDY 7D +1.99%→+4.63%, LI +3.15%→+2.40%, NIO -3.43%→+2.09%, XPEV -3.70%→+3.84% — all four flipped or held positive after last scan's uniformly weak reads.
  • ALB deepened further: RSI unchanged at 28.3, but 30D worsened from -20.55% to -24.68%.
  • TSLA weakened: RSI 51.5→42.5, 7D +0.62%→-6.60%, 30D +2.16%→-4.91% — both turned negative after last scan's flat read.
  • RIVN stabilized: RSI 53.8→52.9, 7D -10.77%→-0.17% (no longer falling), 30D +12.48%→+5.63% (cooled).

How To Read The Board

"Golden cross" (BE, PLUG, ENPH, SEDG, FSLR, LIT, ALB, SQM, DRIV, KARS, TAN, ICLN, NXT, ENS, TE) confirms a longer-term uptrend, but it does not update as fast as price — BE and TE both still carry one even after two consecutive weeks of sharp declines, which is why the trend label ("weak-down" for BE, "down" for TE) matters more than the cross for a near-term read. "Death cross" names (TSLA, BYDDY, LI, NIO, XPEV, RIVN, LCID) are the core EV-maker cohort, structurally separate from the golden-cross clean-energy/industrial names. RSI below 30 (ALB, LIT) flags oversold, not a buy — a falling-knife name in a "down" or "collapse" regime should be treated as a value trap until the trend itself turns. The "thesis" flags (TSLA, BYDDY, BE all carry "intact" this scan) are separate, engine-level calls about the underlying business case that can lag the chart, as they currently do for BE and, increasingly, TSLA — a useful caveat, not a green light.

Tier Analysis

Capitulation (RSI<25): None, though ALB (28.3) and LIT (29.0) sit closest to that line.

Oversold (25-40): 13 of 22 names — ALB, LIT, PLUG, KARS, DRIV, FSLR, TE, ICLN, ENS, BE, TAN, ENPH, SQM — the widest oversold band of any scan this week, with no basing evidence anywhere in the group.

Neutral/Strong (40+): NXT, LI, TSLA, NIO, XPEV, SEDG, RIVN, BYDDY, LCID — 9 names, with LCID's explosive reversal the clear standout.

SHARPEST REVERSAL: LCID ($7.36, RSI 63.2, -77.76% from high) exploded +32.61% in a week — an extreme move that reads as a chase risk, not an entry, this far from any base.

CONTINUED BREAKDOWN: BE ($214.96, RSI 39.0, weak-down, -38.81% from high) and TE ($5.84, RSI 34.7, down, -53.24% from high) both fell for a second straight scan with no sign of stabilizing — BE's "intact" thesis flag from the engine hasn't matched the chart in three weeks running.

STABILIZING: The Chinese EV cohort (LI, NIO, XPEV, BYDDY) posted positive 7-day reads across the board for the first time in two scans, though none has reclaimed its 200-day average.

DEEPENING OVERSOLD: ALB and LIT remain the deepest prints in the group, with ALB's 30-day change worsening to -24.68% despite an unchanged RSI.

Entry Zones

Stock Price RSI 30D% Setup
LCID $7.36 63.2 +37.31% Avoid chasing — explosive reversal this far below its high is a momentum bet, not an entry
BE, TE $214.96 / $5.84 39.0 / 34.7 -34.64% / -37.54% Both broke down for a second straight scan; wait for a real base before treating either as a carry-forward
ALB, LIT, PLUG $120.78 / $68.38 / $2.17 28.3 / 29.0 / 30.0 -24.68% / -16.41% / -23.86% Oversold but falling-knife profiles — no reversal evidence, skip per trend-hold rules
LI, NIO, XPEV, BYDDY 40.9-59.3 -6.21% to +9.91% Chinese EV cohort showing early stabilization; still avoid until one reclaims its 200-day average

Action Matrix

Action Stocks Why
🔍 WATCH LCID Extreme reversal; confirm where it actually finds support before treating as a setup
⚠️ AVOID BE, TE Both broke down for a second straight scan; no basing evidence
❌ DON'T BUY ALB, LIT, PLUG, FSLR, DRIV, KARS, TAN, ICLN, ENS, SQM, ENPH, NXT Oversold but falling-knife profiles across the board — no reversal evidence
🔍 WATCH LI, NIO, XPEV, BYDDY First positive week in two scans for the whole cohort; worth tracking if it continues
🔍 WATCH TSLA, RIVN, SEDG Mixed — TSLA weakened this week, RIVN stabilized, no clear setup either way

What To Watch Next

Watch Why it matters
LCID's next move After a +32.61% week, confirm whether this holds or fully reverses again like the last two scans
BE's thesis-vs-chart gap Now three scans running with the engine flagging "intact" against a steadily worsening technical picture
Chinese EV cohort follow-through First positive week across LI/NIO/XPEV/BYDDY in two scans — one more constructive week would be the first real change-of-character signal
Breadth of the oversold band 13 of 22 names are now oversold with no basing evidence — watch for the first name to actually reverse trend, not just RSI
