Cybersecurity took this book over in a single week, and Zscaler's 19.92% run carried it back above its 200-day average for the first time in this tracked window. CrowdStrike (+14.95%), Palo Alto Networks (+9.96%), Okta (+9.53%) and Fortinet (+8.82%) moved with it — five of the six best weeks in this 42-name universe came from one industry. Two names went the other way and both matter: Constellation Energy collapsed 10.55% and is now negative on the year and 13.0% below its 200-day, and HubSpot fell 5.86% on Friday alone at 7.3 times its normal volume, deepening the worst structural position on this board. Credo, last week's most damaged name, reversed hard and closed exactly on its 200-day.

Data as of the settled Friday 2026-09-18 close. This list carries price and technical evidence; the insider dollar figures cited below come from this session's Form 4 report and are labelled where used.

Quick Snapshot

Signal Reading
Overall 🟡 A cybersecurity week. Five names in one industry ran 8-20%, two names broke down badly, and the insider-buying list is unchanged at five
Insider buying in this universe All five buying names in the broader tracked universe sit on this list: TSLA +$219.0M, CRSP +$28.1M, ASAN +$8.7M, INTC +$2.4M, TSM +$1.5M
Leaders INTC (1Y +255.3%, 40.8% above its 200-day), AMD (+254.5%, +57.9%), MRVL (+229.0%, +54.2%), BE (+228.1%), FTNT (+109.7%), OKTA (+94.8%, cushion +71.5%), TEAM (cushion +73.0%, the widest here)
Laggards HUBS (1Y -57.9%, 15.1% below its 200-day), INTU (-55.1%, thesis flagged broken, -26.5%), IONQ (-41.4%, -10.8%), ZS (-32.2% despite the big week), ADBE (-32.3%), CEG (-21.1%)
Biggest reversal CRDO — momentum 33.2 → 43.1, month -39.23% → -25.1%, and back from 7.4% below its 200-day to exactly on it
Biggest breakdown CEG — momentum 53.7 → 36.4, year -10.5% → -21.1%, 200-day gap -3.6% → -13.0%
Caveat No news pull on this desk covers this week's cybersecurity run. The pulls for Zscaler, CrowdStrike and Palo Alto all completed September 17 and return quote pages only; the sector earnings prints on record are from early September and predate the move
Key insight The week separated cleanly on the 200-day line: Zscaler and Credo crossed back above theirs, Constellation Energy crossed below, and HubSpot fell further under. Everything else was noise around an unchanged structure

What's Going On

Cybersecurity was the whole story on the upside. Zscaler closed $197.31, up 19.92% on the week — the largest weekly gain in this universe — and, more consequentially, it went from 3.2% below its 200-day average to 17.2% above it, with its one-year deficit narrowing from -42.6% to -32.2%. CrowdStrike closed $237.65 (+14.95% on the week, +17.86% on the month, 61.7% above its 200-day). Palo Alto Networks $363.58 (+9.96%, cushion out to +51.1% from +40.1%). Okta $182.37 (+9.53%, +29.15% on the month, one-year return up to +94.8% from +81.1%). Fortinet $169.84 (+8.82%, +109.7% on the year). Nothing in this desk's record explains the week: news for Zscaler, CrowdStrike and Palo Alto all completed September 17 and returned only aggregator quote pages, and the dated filings on record are the early-September earnings prints, which predate the run. What is dated and on file is context, not cause — MarketWatch published a piece on September 17 arguing Zscaler had missed the sector's rally and was due its turn, and Semafor reported Friday on a fresh cluster of AI-driven cybersecurity breaches. Neither is a receipt for a specific close.

Constellation Energy is the week's real casualty and it changed category. $254.71, down 10.55% on the week — the worst in this universe — momentum at 36.4, -21.1% on the year and 13.0% below its 200-day average. Seven days ago it read -10.5% on the year and 3.6% below its 200-day, which this scan called "turned weak." Both figures roughly doubled. That is no longer a name cooling inside a trend; it is a long trend under test, and it sits in the AI-power complex the desk tracks elsewhere. News was pulled September 17 and returns quote pages only; the event record holds nothing. The move has no cause on file.

Credo reversed the damage that had been compounding for two weeks. $175.89, up 7.94% on the week, momentum back to 43.1 from 33.2, its thirty-day decline improving to -25.1% from -39.23%, and its price back from 7.4% below its 200-day to exactly on it (0.0%). It is still 43.0% off its 52-week high with a one-year return of just +2.1%, so this is the end of a slide rather than a repair. The September 1 earnings print — a confirmed beat overshadowed by margin and guidance concerns — remains the last dated event on the name.

HubSpot got worse on every measure and had the strangest single day here. $216.12, down 5.86% on Friday alone at 7.3 times its normal volume and 4.09% on the week, momentum 42.1, -57.9% on the year (from -54.6%) and 15.1% below its 200-day (from -12.7%). It is 58.9% off its 52-week high, the deepest drawdown on this board. The news pull completed September 15 and covers nothing in this window; there is no September event on record. A volume spike of that size with no receipt is worth naming and not worth interpreting.

Three names quietly repaired. MongoDB's one-year return went from +9.1% to +21.3% with its cushion widening to +11.4% from +5.6% and its monthly drawdown easing to -12.93% from -17.27%. Datadog's year improved to +68.1% from +59.0%, cushion +28.3%. Arm's year went to +88.1% from +71.2%, cushion +33.0%. All three were on last week's cooling list.

Two long-run comparisons moved on the calendar rather than on price. IonQ's one-year return fell from -21.9% to -41.4% while the stock actually rose 6.48% on the week and improved its 200-day position from -16.6% to -10.8% — the trailing window rolled past a strong base period. Bloom Energy's one-year return fell from +309.8% to +228.1% the same way, with the stock down only 3.67% on the week and still 33.6% above its 200-day. Neither is fresh deterioration; both are worth reading as a lowered bar, not a decline.

Super Micro's structural improvement reversed for a second week. $39.09, down 2.52% on the week, one-year return widening again to -14.9% from -8.8%, with its 200-day cushion easing to +23.7% from +27.3%. Two weeks ago the deficit had nearly closed at -2.7%. The news pull on file does not cover this week; the move has no cause on record.

What Changed Since Prior Scan (2026-09-11 → 2026-09-18)

Prior-week figures are from the September 11 edition of this scan.

Change Read
ZS crossed back above its 200-day — -3.2% → +17.2%, week +19.92%, year -42.6% → -32.2% The single largest structural change on this board, with no cause on file
CRWD, PANW, OKTA, FTNT all ran with it — +14.95%, +9.96%, +9.53%, +8.82% on the week Five of the six best weeks in a 42-name universe came from one industry
CEG broke down — momentum 53.7 → 36.4, year -10.5% → -21.1%, 200-day -3.6% → -13.0% Left the "turned weak" bucket for the "under test" bucket in one week
CRDO reversed — momentum 33.2 → 43.1, month -39.23% → -25.1%, 200-day -7.4% → 0.0% Two weeks of compounding damage stopped; the stock closed exactly on its 200-day
HUBS deepened — year -54.6% → -57.9%, 200-day -12.7% → -15.1%; Friday -5.86% on 7.3× volume Deepest structural position here and still widening
MDB repaired — year +9.1% → +21.3%, cushion +5.6% → +11.4% Last week's cooling name turned
PANW repaired hard — year +66.7% → +76.8%, cushion +40.1% → +51.1% The beat-then-sell-off pattern flagged two weeks ago is fully unwound
SMCI's deficit widened again — year -8.8% → -14.9%, cushion +27.3% → +23.7% Second straight week reversing; no cause on file either week
IONQ and BE gave back trailing-year gains on the calendar — IONQ -21.9% → -41.4%, BE +309.8% → +228.1% Window-roll effects; IONQ's 200-day position actually improved and BE stayed 33.6% above its
QCOM cooled sharply — momentum 66.3 → 54.0, and it fell 5.82% on Friday at 4.6× normal volume Last week's near-overbought name; Friday's drop has no event on record

How To Read The Board

This list is the technology slice of the insider-tracked universe, and it carries price evidence only — the dollar figures for who bought and sold come from the separate Form 4 report and are quoted here only where a name overlaps. Those figures move slowly and several have been frozen for weeks; a frozen number is a report artifact, not a fresh signal, and none of the five buying figures on this list changed value this week. On the price side, the column that decides whether a drawdown is opportunity or damage is the pair at the right: a name above its 200-day with a positive one-year return is in a pullback inside an intact trend, and a name below its 200-day with a negative year has a trend genuinely under test. Trailing one-year returns also drift purely because the comparison date moves — IonQ and Bloom Energy both fell sharply on that measure this week while their prices rose or barely moved — so a one-year change is read alongside the 200-day position, never alone. Where a move has no news receipt covering it, this scan says so; a stale pull is never evidence that nothing happened.

Tier Analysis

Capitulation (RSI below 25): None.

Oversold (RSI 25-40): CEG (36.4) and INTU (38.0). Two names, and both are below their 200-day with double-digit negative years — damage, not discount. Last week this tier held only Credo (33.2), which has since reversed out of it. The change in membership is the point: a name that was cheap because it fell hard on an earnings print has been replaced by a name that was not cheap a week ago and now is.

Neutral / Strong (RSI 40+): The remaining 40 names, topped by META (65.8), TEAM (65.7), AMD (65.4), AAPL (64.3) and ZS (63.3). Nothing in this universe reached 70; the board is extended in places but not overbought anywhere.

Entry Zones

Conditions, not advice.

Stock Entry Zone Thesis
INTC Current $108.60; 20-day at $95.87, 200-day at $77.16 The only name here carrying insider buying alongside a +255.3% year and a 40.8% cushion. It is 13.3% above its own 20-day, so a pullback toward $95.87 is the condition, not this price
ASML Current $1,679.28; 200-day at $1,509.47, support shelf $1,480.58 +81.0% year, 11.2% cushion, pulled back slightly under its 20-day. The cleanest deep-pullback shape here
MDB Current $383.56; 200-day at $344.39, support shelf $339.03 Down 12.93% on the month inside a +21.3% year that improved this week
DDOG Current $229.92; 200-day at $179.23 +68.1% year with a 28.3% cushion, both improved this week. No discount at this price
CRDO Watch the 200-day it is sitting on; current $175.89 Two weeks of damage stopped exactly at the line. Holding it would confirm the reversal; losing it resumes the slide
AVGO Current $357.61; 200-day at $369.10 Three weeks within 3% of its 200-day with a +3.6% year. The reclaim is the condition
ZS Current $197.31; 200-day at $168.31, 20-day at $179.16 Crossed back above its 200-day on a 19.92% week with no cause on file and a year still -32.2%. Verify before treating the cross as a repair
CEG, HUBS, INTU, IONQ, ADBE Not zones — under test or broken All below their 200-day with negative years. Intuit's thesis flag has never been cleared

What To Watch Next

  • Does the cybersecurity run hold a second week? Five names ran 8-20% with nothing on this desk's record behind it. Zscaler is the test: it crossed its 200-day at $168.31 on this move, and a year still -32.2% means one week does not settle anything.
  • Constellation Energy. It went from mildly weak to -21.1% on the year and 13.0% below its 200-day in seven days with no cause on file. The power complex needs an answer on this name.
  • Credo's 200-day. It closed exactly on the line after two weeks of compounding damage. Hold it and the reversal is real; lose it and the slide resumes from a lower base.
  • HubSpot's Friday volume. A 5.86% drop at 7.3 times normal volume in the most broken name on this board, with no receipt. Either something surfaces or the number stands unexplained.
  • Whether Super Micro's deficit keeps reopening. Two straight weeks widening after nearly closing, both without a driver on record.
  • Broadcom's $369.10. Three weeks of hovering within 3% of the line with a flat year.
