Tech Insider Buys Scan
Tech Insider Buys Scan
Cybersecurity's run held a second week and pushed Zscaler and Okta into overbought territory, Credo's reversal turned into a clean break above its 200-day, and Constellation Energy's flagged breakdown partially stabilized — while Intuit kept deteriorating and HubSpot, oddly, recovered some ground off last week's unexplained volume spike. The insider-buying list is unchanged for a third week at the same five names and nearly the same dollar figures.
Data as of the settled 2026-09-23 close. This list carries price and technical evidence; the insider dollar figures cited below come from this session's Form 4 report and are labelled where used.

| Laggards | HUBS (1Y -56.0%, still deeply broken though the cushion improved), INTU (-59.0%, thesis flagged broken, worsening), IONQ (-43.4%), ADBE (-33.5%), CEG (-21.6%, partially stabilizing) |
| Biggest reversal | CRDO — momentum 43.1 → 50.9, 200-day position 0.0% → +10.2%, now clearly above the line after two weeks of repair |
| Biggest continued breakdown | INTU — 1Y -55.1% → -59.0%, 200-day gap -26.5% → -29.6%, thesis flag unresolved for six weeks |
| Caveat | No news pull on this desk covers this week's continued cybersecurity run or CEG's partial stabilization |
| Key insight | The week separated cleanly again on the 200-day line: Credo crossed further above it, Constellation Energy's gap narrowed without fully closing, and Intuit kept sinking further below it |
What's Going On
Cybersecurity extended its run into a second week, and two names crossed into overbought territory. Zscaler closed $214.45, RSI 70.5 (from 63.3), up 11.94% on the week, its one-year deficit narrowing to -25.87% from -32.22% and its 200-day cushion widening to +27.8% from +17.2%. Okta closed $205.36, RSI 71.3 (from 61.5), up 56.8% on the month — its one-year return now +122.7%, cushion +90.1%, both meaningfully wider than last week. CrowdStrike ($262.49, RSI 68.9, +116.9% on the year, 76.4% cushion) and Palo Alto Networks ($393.30, RSI 62.7, +93.5% on the year, 61.6% cushion) both extended further. Fortinet held steady at +109.6% on the year. No news pull on this desk covers the continuation; the dated context from last scan — the MarketWatch and Semafor items on cybersecurity's rally and rising breach activity — remains context, not a confirmed cause for this week's move specifically.
Credo's reversal is no longer just a bounce off a support line — it's a clean break above the 200-day. Two weeks ago this name was compounding damage; last week it closed exactly on its 200-day after a reversal. This week: $193.87, RSI 50.9 (from 43.1), up 20.05% on the week, now 10.2% above its 200-day (from 0.0%), one-year return jumping to +19.48% from +2.08% on the combination of price gain and a window-roll effect. It remains 37.2% off its 52-week high, so this is a repair in progress rather than a full recovery, but the direction is now unambiguous.
Constellation Energy partially stabilized after last week's flagged breakdown. $263.88, momentum recovering to 43.8 from 36.4, one-year return roughly steady at -21.6% (from -21.1%), 200-day gap narrowing to -9.4% from -13.0%. That is a real improvement in structure without a resolution — the name is still below its 200-day and still negative on the year. No cause is confirmed for either the original drop or this week's partial recovery.
HubSpot recovered some ground off last week's unexplained Friday volume spike, contrary to the trajectory that spike suggested. Last scan flagged a -5.86% Friday drop on 7.3x normal volume with the deficit still widening. This week: $226.03, RSI 47.3 (from 42.1), one-year deficit narrowing to -56.0% from -57.9%, 200-day gap improving to -10.4% from -15.1%. It remains the second-most structurally damaged name on this board after Intuit, and no news pull on file covers either last week's drop or this week's partial recovery — the improvement is reported without a confirmed cause, same as the drop was.
Intuit is the one name here that kept deteriorating without pause. $286.80, momentum 32.8, down 22.47% on the month, -59.0% on the year (from -55.1%), 29.6% below its 200-day. The thesis flag on this name has read broken for six straight weeks now and every week the underlying numbers confirm it further.
IonQ and Super Micro both improved their 200-day position while their trailing-year comparisons moved on the calendar. IonQ's one-year return fell slightly to -43.4% from -41.4% (a window-roll effect) while its 200-day gap improved sharply to -2.7% from -10.8% — the stock is genuinely closer to reclaiming that line than the one-year number alone would suggest, up 15.47% on the week. Super Micro's deficit narrowed to -11.8% from -14.9% with its cushion widening to +30.6% from +23.7% — the second straight week of improvement after the prior reopening flagged twice running.
What Changed Since Prior Scan (2026-09-18 → 2026-09-23)

| CEG partially stabilized — momentum 36.4 → 43.8, 200-day gap -13.0% → -9.4% | Last week's flagged breakdown did not continue; still below its 200-day |
| HUBS recovered some ground — 1Y -57.9% → -56.0%, 200-day gap -15.1% → -10.4% | Contrary to the trajectory the flagged Friday drop suggested; no cause confirmed for either move |
| INTU worsened for a sixth week — 1Y -55.1% → -59.0%, 200-day gap -26.5% → -29.6% | The broken flag continues to be confirmed by the price action |
| SMCI's deficit narrowed for a second straight week — 1Y -14.9% → -11.8%, cushion +23.7% → +30.6% | Reversing the prior two-week reopening trend |
| IONQ's 200-day position improved sharply — -10.8% → -2.7% | While the one-year comparison rolled slightly more negative on the calendar |
| QCOM fully repaired and extended past its prior level — RSI 54.0 → 66.4, 1Y +5.7% → +16.35% | Last week's unexplained Friday drop is fully unwound |
How To Read The Board
This list is the technology slice of the insider-tracked universe, and it carries price evidence only — the dollar figures for who bought and sold come from the separate Form 4 report and are quoted here only where a name overlaps. Those figures move slowly and have been frozen or nearly frozen for three weeks; a frozen number is a report artifact, not a fresh signal. On the price side, the column that decides whether a drawdown is opportunity or damage is the pair at the right: a name above its 200-day with a positive one-year return is in a pullback inside an intact trend, and a name below its 200-day with a negative year has a trend genuinely under test. Trailing one-year returns also drift purely because the comparison date moves — IonQ's one-year number worsened this week even as its structural position clearly improved — so a one-year change is read alongside the 200-day position, never alone. Where a move has no news receipt covering it, this scan says so; a stale pull is never evidence that nothing happened.

Tier Analysis
Capitulation (RSI below 25): None.
Oversold (RSI 25-40): INTU (32.8) and ADBE (39.2). CEG graduated out of this tier since last week (now 43.8) and ADBE newly entered it (from 42.4). Both remaining names are below their 200-day with double-digit negative years — damage, not discount.
Neutral / Strong (RSI 40+): The remaining 40 names, topped by META (77.0, overbought), OKTA and ARM (71.3/71.1), AMD (71.0), INTC (70.3) and ZS (70.5). Five names are now above 70, versus none last week — this board is extending, not correcting.
Entry Zones
Conditions, not advice.
| Stock | Entry Zone | Thesis |
|---|---|---|
| INTC | Current $122.60; 20-day $101.04, 200-day $78.36 | The only name here carrying insider buying alongside a +317.9% year and a 56.5% cushion; 21.3% above its own 20-day, so a pullback is the condition, not this price |
| ASML | Current $1,744.61; 200-day $1,518.69, support shelf $1,445.51 | +81.1% year, 14.9% cushion, mild pullback. The cleanest deep-pullback shape here |
| MDB | Current $428.36; 200-day $344.68, support shelf $360.48 | +34.3% year that keeps improving, 24.3% cushion |
| DDOG | Current $251.49; 200-day $180.62, support shelf $134.52 | +82.9% year, 39.2% cushion, both extending. No discount at this price |
| CRDO | Current $193.87; 200-day $175.91, support shelf $174.44 | Confirmed break above its 200-day this week after a two-week repair; still 37.2% off its high |
| AVGO | Current $354.99; 200-day $368.79, support shelf $345.49 | Still stuck right at its 200-day; a reclaim of $368.79 is the condition |
| ZS | Current $214.45; 200-day $167.83, 20-day $184.44 | Newly overbought at RSI 70.5 on a year still -25.9% — extended, not a value entry |
| CEG, HUBS, INTU, IONQ, ADBE | Not zones — under test or broken | All below their 200-day with negative years. Intuit's thesis flag has never been cleared; CEG and HUBS both showed partial improvement this week without resolving |

What To Watch Next
- Does the cybersecurity run hold a third week? Two names — Zscaler and Okta — crossed into overbought territory this week with no driver confirmed on this desk's record in either of the last two weeks.
- Constellation Energy and HubSpot's partial repairs. Both stabilized without resolving — CEG is still below its 200-day, HubSpot is still -56% on the year. Whether either continues or reverses is unresolved.
- Credo's 52-week high, still 37.2% away. The break above its 200-day is confirmed; the deeper recovery is not.
- Whether Intuit's broken-thesis flag ever clears. Six straight weeks of confirmation with no counter-evidence.
- IonQ's 200-day at reach. Its structural position improved from -10.8% to -2.7% in one week even as the one-year number rolled the other way on the calendar.
