The overbought extreme that stacked up seven names above RSI 70 last edition thinned out to four this session — Zscaler, CrowdStrike, Palo Alto and Twilio all cooled together — while Airbnb's brief "selling into a dip" flag cleared as the stock recovered out of oversold entirely. The insider buying list is essentially frozen for a fourth straight week at the same five names, though Asana's carried buying figure dropped by roughly half. Moderna is the one name still extending hard, now the highest momentum reading in this universe at 76.1.

Prices and technicals are the settled 2026-09-25 close, per the desk's summaries. The insider dollar figures come from the Form 4 report run this session; that report's own price and momentum columns are not used anywhere in this scan.

Key insight Seven names read above RSI 70 last edition; only four do this week (MRNA, AMD, TMO, META) — the broad cooling shows up across cybersecurity and several extended software names at once

What's Going On

The overbought cluster from last edition thinned out across the board. Zscaler closed $193.05, RSI 53.6 — down sharply from last edition's 70.5 — its one-year deficit widening back to -32.66% from -25.87% and its 200-day cushion compressing to +15.3% from +27.8%. CrowdStrike ($252.13, RSI 62.1 from 68.9), Palo Alto Networks ($374.74, RSI 54.4 from 62.7) and Twilio ($275.80, RSI 62.5 from 75.4) all cooled the same direction, though none broke their 200-day averages — CrowdStrike's cushion is still +68.0%, Twilio's +60.2%. No news pull on file covers this cooling for any of the four names; latest was last pulled 2026-09-22, .../CRWD/news/latest.json and .../PANW/news/latest.json both predate this move, and research/stock-events/ holds nothing for any of them in this window. The reversal is reported without a confirmed cause.

Airbnb's brief "selling into a dip" flag cleared this week as the stock recovered. It closed $157.47, up from $149.58, with momentum climbing to 38.3 from the oversold 26.5 flagged last edition — back out of the tier where that combination applies. Its one-year return jumped to +29.34% from +21.12% and its 200-day cushion widened to +10.3% from +5.0%. latest was refreshed 2026-09-24 and holds a GuruFocus item on a $250 million housing-initiative commitment dated September 14 and analyst target changes from early September — none dated to this specific recovery, so no cause is confirmed for the bounce itself. It still carries $1.3 billion of tracked insider selling from prior filings, unchanged from last edition, now against a stock that is no longer oversold.

Moderna is the one name still extending hard, and the corpus holds a dated item worth citing with a caveat. It closed $198.88, RSI 76.1 (from 71.9), the highest momentum reading anywhere in this universe, with its one-year return jumping to +708.13% from +606.13% and its 200-day cushion widening to +209.5% from +191.1%. latest (refreshed 2026-09-25) holds a MarketBeat index item describing Moderna "surging" in September on Phase 3 melanoma data reaching a presidential symposium slot and on flu-shot availability news — that item's own date is inferred and it summarizes the month's action rather than pinning a single session, so it is cited as available context, not a confirmed same-day driver.

The insider buying list held its five names for a fourth straight week, though one figure moved. Tesla's carried figure ticked up slightly to +$221.0M from +$219.0M; CRISPR Therapeutics is essentially flat at +$26.7M (from +$27.3M); Intel and TSMC are unchanged at +$2.4M and +$1.5M. Asana's carried buying dropped to +$4.5M from +$8.7M — roughly half — the largest change on the buying side this week. The golden signal (oversold plus buying) remains at zero for a ninth straight week.

The most heavily sold names in this universe remain overwhelmingly the ones with the strongest multi-year trends, and Broadcom's selling deepened. Broadcom's tracked net selling widened to -$1.9B from -$1.6B while the stock itself sits almost exactly at its 200-day (-4.2%, one-year +4.97%) — a name where heavy selling and a flat chart continue to coexist. AMD (-$470.5M sold, now +291.02% on the year, 72.9% above its 200-day), Twilio (-$634.0M sold, +172.18% on the year) and DDOG (-$688.4M sold, +96.29% on the year) all extended their long trends further while carrying nine-figure-plus insider selling — the same divergence flagged in prior editions and still not a standalone sell signal here.

EOSE, Netflix and Pinterest remain the cleanest cases where insider selling and the chart agree, and EOSE deepened again. EOSE closed $3.17, its one-year deficit widening to -69.78% from -64.76% and its 200-day gap to -58.7% from -54.1% — the most structurally damaged name in this universe got worse for a second straight edition, with no receipt on file explaining either move. NFLX closed $71.15, essentially frozen at RSI 37.1 (unchanged from last edition), still -41.11% on the year. PINS closed $18.90, RSI 39.9 (up from 35.8), -43.50% on the year, edging toward the top of the oversold band without repairing the underlying trend.

What Changed Since Prior Scan (2026-09-23 → 2026-09-25)

Change Read
Seven overbought names (RSI 70+) shrank to four — ZS 70.5 → 53.6, CRWD 68.9 → 62.1, PANW 62.7 → 54.4, TWLO 75.4 → 62.5 The broadest single change this session; MRNA (76.1), AMD (73), TMO (72.5) and META (71.3) are the only names still above 70
Airbnb's "selling into a dip" flag cleared — RSI 26.5 → 38.3, 1Y +21.12% → +29.34% Back out of oversold; still carries $1.3B of tracked insider selling, now unpaired with a distressed chart
ASAN's carried buying figure roughly halved — +$8.7M → +$4.5M The largest change on the buying side this week
AVGO's tracked selling deepened — -$1.6B → -$1.9B Stock itself essentially flat, sitting near its 200-day
EOSE deepened for a second straight edition — 1Y -64.76% → -69.78%, 200-day gap -54.1% → -58.7% The most structurally damaged name here got worse again, no cause on file
MRNA extended further, now the highest momentum reading in this universe — RSI 71.9 → 76.1, 1Y +606.13% → +708.13% A dated MarketBeat item (2026-09-25, date inferred) cites Phase 3 melanoma data and flu-shot news as month-level context, not a confirmed single-session cause
FSLR newly entered the oversold band — RSI 39.6 → 35.1 Joins ENPH and EOSE among names below 40 with negative years
Still no golden signal, nine weeks running The oversold-plus-buying combination has never fired in this tracked window

How To Read The Board

Two independent sources meet in this scan and answer different questions. The Form 4 dollar figures say who inside the company transacted and for how much; they are cumulative tracked positions that change slowly, and most have been frozen or nearly frozen for four weeks — a frozen figure is not a fresh signal, though this week Asana's carried buying figure moved by roughly half. The price table says what the market did, and every number in it is the settled close. Where the two disagree, neither is wrong: heavy selling in a name with a +291% year (AMD) and heavy selling in a name with a -41% year (NFLX) are entirely different situations, which is why the one-year and 200-day columns stay visible rather than assumed. A low momentum reading is a description of recent price, not a recommendation. The full report names its 52 sellers but prints only the largest 20, so smaller selling positions are counted in the tally and absent from the table below. No cause is attached to any price move in this scan except where a dated filing or article is named, and where a news pull predates the move described, that is stated rather than assumed to mean nothing happened.

Tier Analysis

Capitulation (RSI below 25): None — ninth straight week.

Oversold (RSI 25-40): EOSE (37.4), FSLR (35.1), ENPH (32.2), UBER (38.3), NFLX (37.1), ABNB (38.3), PINS (39.9), ZM (38.6). Eight names, up from six last edition — FSLR and ZM are new entrants, SOFI graduated out. Of these, only Airbnb carries a positive one-year return (+29.34%) and sits above its 200-day (+10.3%) — oversold inside an intact trend. The rest are negative on the year and below their 200-days — structural damage, not discount.

Neutral / Strong (RSI 40+): The remaining 51 names, topped by MRNA (76.1), AMD (73.0), TMO (72.5) and META (71.3). Only four names read above 70 this week, down from seven last edition — the broadest change on this board.

Entry Zones

Conditions, not advice.

Stock Entry Zone Thesis
INTC Current $123.00; 20-day $104.54, 200-day $79.20 The only name here carrying insider buying alongside a +261.9% year and a 55.3% cushion. It is 17.7% above its own 20-day, so a pullback toward $104.54 is the condition, not this price
CRSP Current $54.23; 200-day $53.33, support shelf $53.43 Buying carried at a nearly unchanged figure; the year is still -10.1%
MDB Current $410.44; 200-day $344.70, support shelf $360.48 +30.2% year with a 19.1% cushion, intact
ASML / VRTX ASML $1,743.94 (200-day $1,524.93); VRTX $526.19 (200-day $471.85, shelf $487.72) Both pulling back inside strong years (+83.7%, +37.8%) with intact cushions
ABNB Current $157.47; 200-day $142.71, support shelf $136.64 Recovered out of oversold and out of the "selling into a dip" flag this week; still carries $1.3B of tracked selling from prior filings
CEG Not a zone — roughly steady Momentum unchanged at 43.8; still below its 200-day and negative on the year
NFLX, PINS, SOFI, RBLX, EOSE, UBER, FSLR, ENPH Not zones — broken Negative years below their 200-day averages. Low momentum here is damage, not value

What To Watch Next

  • Does the overbought cooling in ZS, CRWD, PANW and TWLO extend into a real pullback, or stabilize here? None broke their 200-day cushions this week; all four simply came off their momentum highs.
  • Whether Airbnb's recovery holds. It cleared both the oversold tier and the "selling into a dip" flag this week; $142.71 (its 200-day) is the next level that matters if the bounce fades.
  • Whether EOSE finds a floor. Its one-year deficit widened again this week with nothing on record to explain either this move or last edition's.
  • Moderna's next print against the dated context on file. The MarketBeat item citing Phase 3 melanoma data and flu-shot news describes the month, not a single session — whether the stock's extension continues is the open question.
  • FSLR and ZM, both newly oversold this week. Neither shows a positive one-year return or a cushion above the 200-day yet.
