Insider Activity Scan
Insider Activity Scan
Forty-nine of 59 insider-universe stocks fell on the week, and last week's overbought leaders broke first: Palantir (down 11.01%, RSI 46.3 from 76.3), Datadog (down 15.74%), Fortinet (down 13.16%) and Zscaler (down 11.27%) all dropped out of the overbought group; Intel, Arm, AMD and Marvell lost 13% to 17%; and Eos Energy fell 27.78% to RSI 25. The five insider buyers (the same five in the October 9 and October 16 reports) are now mostly in the oversold band or under their 200-days — Intel (RSI 31.4) and TSMC (34.2) sit at the edge of oversold while still above their 200-day averages. None is under RSI 30, so there is still no golden signal.
Prices and technicals are the settled Friday, October 16 close from the price summaries (all 59 rows carry that date). Insider dollars are from the October 16 Form 4 net-flow report. It prints net dollars only — no insider names, roles or filing dates.
Quick Snapshot

| Key insight | The week removed every overbought reading. What remains is a list of intact trends in pullbacks (Palantir, Datadog, CrowdStrike, Intel) and a short list of broken charts (EOSE, SOFI, FSLR, ENPH) |
What's Going On
A broad drop with ten exceptions. 49 of 59 names fell, 41 close under their 20-day averages and 20 under their 200-day averages. The ten that rose were LLY (up 6.59%), CRM, TMO, ABNB, RBLX, PINS, AAPL, NOW, ISRG and NFLX; they are health care (LLY, TMO, ISRG), consumer platforms (ABNB, RBLX, PINS, NFLX) and large-cap software or hardware (CRM, NOW, AAPL). Cause not checked for any of these moves.
Last week's overbought group gave it back, inside intact trends. Palantir closed $186.03 (down 11.01%; Friday down 7.22%), RSI 46.3, 21.9% above its 200-day. Datadog (down 15.74%, RSI 41.8) is 29% above its 200-day; Fortinet (down 13.16%, RSI 40.7) 36.5% above its 200-day; CrowdStrike (down 17.32%) 41.6% above its 200-day; Palo Alto (down 18.33%) 31.2% above its 200-day. Zscaler (down 11.27%, RSI 51.4) is 25.1% above its 200-day but with a one-year loss of 30.7%. Shopify (down 0.78%, RSI 61) and Moderna (down 3.11%, RSI 61.7) held up best of last week's six names above RSI 70.
The buyers' charts weakened. Tesla (+$221.0M) closed $354.72, down 7.31%, RSI 42.2, 8.6% under its 200-day ($387.99; it was 2% under on October 9), with a one-year loss of 17.27%. CRISPR is 7.3% under its 200-day (it sat on the line a week ago) with a one-year loss of 28.03%. Intel closed $89.85 (down 14.18%), RSI 31.4, 20.2% under its 20-day and 6.3% above its 200-day with a one-year gain of 143.89% — a deep pullback in an intact trend. TSMC (down 8.98%, RSI 34.2) is 4.4% above its 200-day. Asana held most of its bounce (down 2.09%, RSI 55, 20.5% above its 200-day, a one-year loss of 29.47%).
Chips and the broken charts. Arm (down 14.45%) is 1.9% above its 200-day; Marvell (down 17.24%) 29.6% above its 200-day; AMD (down 13.05%, a one-year gain of 125.42%) 34.1% above its 200-day; Nvidia (down 6.61%, RSI 37.5) 5.5% above its 200-day. Broadcom (down 9.07%) is 10.7% under its 200-day with a one-year loss of 7.17%. Eos Energy closed $1.82, down 27.78% (Friday down 15.74%), RSI 25, 73.6% under its 200-day, a one-year loss of 88.22% — the one name where the selling figure (-$25.1M) and the chart agree. SoFi (RSI 34.7), Enphase (37.4) and First Solar (38.1) are also oversold under their 200-days with negative years. Cause not checked.

How To Read The Board
Insider dollars are net Form 4 flows from the October 16 report; every price, momentum and return figure is from the price summaries. Heavy selling in a strong chart is routine for executives of fast-rising companies. The combinations that matter are selling plus a broken chart (a real warning) and buying plus oversold momentum (a golden signal) — and the second does not appear this week. "—" means no dollar figure was printed in the October 16 report.

What To Watch Next
- A golden signal. INTC (RSI 31.4, +$2.4M) and TSM (+$1.5M) still show net buying but neither is under RSI 30; an RSI under 30 with the buying intact would make one.
- Intel's 200-day ($84.56) and TSMC's ($395.05). Both closed above them ($89.85, $412.61); a close under either breaks a buyer-backed trend.
- Tesla's 200-day ($387.99). It closed $354.72; the gap widened this week.
- Nvidia's 200-day ($202.97) and Arm's ($223.44). Nvidia's price sits 5.5% above its line, Arm's 1.9%.
- Do the security names hold their 200-days? PLTR $152.65, DDOG $191.61, CRWD $160.56, PANW $260.68.
- EOSE at RSI 25. A bounce that stays under its 20-day ($2.96) is not a repair.
