MARKET CONTEXT: VOO $715.59 (2.1% 30D, RSI 59.3, 15.96% 1Y) | QQQM $309.39 (RSI 61) | VIXY $16.3 (RSI 39.3) | GLD $384.58 (RSI 45.8, -7.5% vs its 200-day) — settled close of 2026-10-09 (Friday)
Price truth. Every tape cell below is bound to the desk's October 9 summaries (freshest row per symbol across the summary files; every US row carries a settled October 9 bar, and only 20 Asian rows carry October 8 exchange closes). Sourced through all 34 scans on disk for October 9 (the task named 31; the monster-discover page carries an invalidation banner after an upstream tape repair and was used for context only), all 11 candidate roundups, the code-diffed regime-transitions feed for October 9 against October 8, the campaign roster, and the September 28 company profiles for their stated levels only. Prior digest for carry-forward: the October 2 edition. Market sections are book-blind; real holdings appear only in the Exit Alerts table. One correction to tonight's scan corpus: the scans say no capture is dated October 9. That is no longer true. The desk holds 58 articles dated October 9 (none on X, 64 filings), and several of them source moves the scans list as unexplained: Delta's quarter (CNBC), Verizon's Friday (CNBC), copper's Friday (Bloomberg), the dollar (Bloomberg) and the bond market (Bloomberg, CNBC). They are cited below where they apply.
Summary
The index held near its highs while leadership changed hands. The S&P 500 fund closed the week just under its 52-week high after its first record since August on October 6 (Bloomberg, as cited in the market-pulse scan). Underneath, chips sold after OpenAI told investors its annualized revenue was about $50 billion, below the figure widely cited (Financial Times; CNBC, October 8). Software, cloud and cybersecurity funds closed Friday above the tops of nine-week ranges. Energy led the other side: refiners and tanker owners moved up the momentum tiers as Iran stepped up Hormuz tanker attacks (CNBC, October 8), and Hurricane Isaias shut almost three-quarters of Gulf oil output on Friday (Bloomberg, October 9). Bloomberg's October 9 read was that big tech's rally extended into a fourth week as AI-bubble fears faded. That is market-level context, not a cause for any single name. Bonds climbed out of capitulation, but no bond or credit fund reclaimed its 200-day. On October 9 Bloomberg reported asset managers offloading long-duration Treasury futures and a "rate shock" spreading beneath the AI rally, and CNBC wrote that junk bonds are "flashing yellow". September CPI is scheduled for October 14.
The oversold board turned over. Telecom broke on Friday. SpaceX agreed after the October 8 close to buy 800 MHz spectrum to push Starlink into US mobile (CNBC, October 8), and Verizon posted its worst day since 2002 (CNBC, October 9). Biotech supplied several of the deepest readings. Immunovant lost its 200-day, BioMarin and Nektar stayed in capitulation, and argenx fell about 13% on October 8. Fertilizer fell as a group on Friday on heavy volume with no cause on file: Mosaic went into capitulation, Nutrien closed under its profile stop, and CF Industries slipped under its 200-day. Last week's consumer and home-improvement washouts bounced out of the sub-30 band without repairing a single long trend. The defense primes left capitulation on flat prices and still trade under their 200-days through an escalation week.
The intact-trend entry pool is short and specific. Jazz Pharmaceuticals is the only sub-30 print still above its 200-day on a strong year outside clinical-stage biotech, and it carries an unread 8-K. Incyte, ArcelorMittal, Merchants Bancorp, Franklin Resources, IES Holdings and Columbia Financial are 30s-RSI dips above their 200-days on strong years. Deere qualifies on the tape but carries an open FTC/USDA inquiry. Four clinical-stage biotechs with intact charts (Dianthus, Nurix, Edgewise, plus Enliven on the line) stay under the business-quality veto.
Entry Zones (IN ZONE NOW)
Individual common stocks and partnerships with normal trade access only. Broad, sector, bond, commodity and thematic funds sit in Sector Rotation below. Leveraged and inverse funds (TNA, TZA, LABD, DUST) are never entry candidates and are left out. NOPMF, NEO.TO, 006260.KS, RR.L and NKT.CO are OTC or foreign lines: research-only, never a zone. Action tags: 📈 Accumulate / 🔍 Research / ⏳ Stage / ❌ Don't Buy. A name below its 200-day never earns 📈. Neither does a clinical-stage biotech, however clean its chart. "Carried" rows were in last edition's zones and do not appear on an October 9 scan; they are re-read on tonight's tape.

Dropped from last edition's alerts (condition no longer holds): Verizon's $44–$48 zone. The stock fell through the bottom of it on the SpaceX spectrum news and now sits in Entry Zones as a fresh fundamental shock, not a value zone. Last edition's market trend-line rows (WDC, BMRN, CF, NTR, AA, XLF) moved into this table, because the Exit Alerts table now carries real holdings only.
Exit Alerts (Holdings)
Accounts read through the holdings CLI this session: the live agent book (rh-trade, one open position) is the only book carried here. The personal Robinhood mirror (yawnxyz-rh) is excluded by the user's October 8 ruling that exit rows carry the auto-trading books, never the personal mirror (audit A1069), and by the accounts doc of record ("display only, never advised"); theo-active holds nothing. Entry and P&L are the holdings CLI's figures; the tape cells are bound to the October 9 summaries.

Guardant, Rockwell and CNH eased from uptrend to pullback. PayPal, which reads 3 of 5 on the fallen-quality board, firmed into basing. | Jazz: read the 8-K filed October 9 (event dated October 6) before treating the one intact sub-30 print as an entry | monster-scan Steady Climbers, filing capture | High | New |
| argenx: confirm the October 8 drop's cause. Mitrade's Sjögren's UNITY discontinuation has no company release on file; the same day's company release covers positive Phase 2 celiac data | prior-edition carry, news receipt | High | New |
| Western Digital lost its 200-day: is there a primary source (Toshiba guidance or a capacity filing) for the capacity worry? | ai-scan, memory candidate | High | Carried |
| Telecom: read the seven Verizon Form 4s filed October 9; the FCC vote is scheduled October 29. Does BCE's slide have any cause on file? | ai-scan, defensive-scan, filing captures | High | New |
| Fertilizer's Friday sector-wide drop: find a cause (no October 9 capture names Mosaic, Nutrien, CF, Bunge or Deere); Nutrien is under its profile stop | food-security | Medium | New |
| ArcelorMittal's slide has no cause on file for a third week (news pulled October 3 holds only Q2 results); still above its 200-day | monster-scan Steady Climbers | Medium | Carried |
| National Energy Services: pull news for the capitulation leg (receipt dated October 5, analyst trims of October 2 only) | monster-scan | Medium | New |
| Friday's software and security surge and Moderna's +14% Friday: per-name causes not on file. The October 9 captures carry only a market-level read (Bloomberg) and the Zscaler 8-K of October 6 is unread | ai-scan, cybersec, biotech-scan | Medium | New |
| Defense primes into the October 20–29 reports: does any prime reclaim its 200-day? Read General Dynamics' October 8 8-K before attributing anything | defense-contractors, drone-defense | Medium | Carried |
| Delta: read the 8-K and 10-Q filed October 9 for the miss and the forecast cut (CNBC) before reading the airline group through it | airlines, filing captures | Medium | New |
| The scans' "no October 9 capture" caveat is stale: 58 October 9 articles are on file. Re-read single-day "cause unknown" calls against them on the next pass | all scans | Medium | Carried pattern (same as last edition) |
| Does DBA's food leg resolve by the October 14 review date? | DBA target desk call | Low | Carried |
Closed from last edition: XLF's 200-day question (reclaimed), MDB's 200-day hold (held), Nektar's Endpoints newsletter (superseded by a deeper break with no new item), McDonald's further-slide question (it bounced out of the band without repair; the Barchart post of October 7 on its lowest close in more than four years is the latest dated item), Carpenter's capitulation (eased to the oversold edge, still under its 200-day; carried as a Stage row).
The Gold
Top Signal
Damage moved from rates to telecom, biotech and fertilizer, and the intact-trend entry pool is short. The index held near its highs while chips cooled on OpenAI's lower revenue figure and software, cloud and cyber funds broke out of nine-week ranges. Bonds left capitulation without reclaiming a single 200-day. The new capitulation names are mostly fresh fundamental shocks or broken charts: the US carriers on SpaceX's spectrum deal, Immunovant's lost 200-day, and Mosaic in a sector-wide fertilizer drop with no cause on file. Jazz Pharmaceuticals is the one sub-30 print still above its 200-day on a strong year outside clinical-stage biotech, and an unread 8-K stands between it and an entry. Behind it, Incyte, ArcelorMittal, Merchants Bancorp, Franklin Resources, IES Holdings and Columbia Financial are 30s-RSI dips above their 200-days on strong years. Deere qualifies on the tape but carries an open FTC/USDA inquiry. Everything else oversold is damage below the 200-day, not discount.
Key Discoveries
| Discovery | Implication |
|---|---|
| 58 articles dated October 9 are on file, although tonight's scans say none exist | Several "cause unknown" calls now have dated items: Delta's first estimate miss in two years and its fuel-driven forecast cut, Verizon's worst day since 2002, copper's weekly gain on Chinese demand, the dollar's longest winning streak since early 2025 (all CNBC or Bloomberg, October 9) |
| SpaceX's 800 MHz spectrum deal (CNBC, October 8) broke all three US carriers on Friday | A fundamental competitive shock, not a dip: Verizon left its long-held $44–$48 zone; the FCC vote on October 29 is the next dated test |
| Bonds climbed out of capitulation while Bloomberg reported asset-manager deleveraging in Treasury futures | Momentum relief, not a turn; CPI on October 14 decides the next leg |
| Fertilizer, grain traders and Deere fell together Friday on heavy volume with no cause on file | Nutrien closed under its profile stop and CF Industries under its 200-day; the September 28 fertilizer profiles need a re-read against the tape |
| argenx (thesis rated intact) and Immunovant both lost their 200-days in one week | Two biotech trends that read as intact last edition are now under test; argenx's cause is aggregator-reported only |
| Jazz is the only sub-30 intact-trend print outside clinical biotech; Incyte, ArcelorMittal, Merchants Bancorp, Franklin Resources, IES and Columbia Financial form the 30s-RSI pool | The trend-hold entry pool tonight sits in the momentum board's steady-climber and secular tiers, not in the oversold scans |
| Neocloud read-through: Nebius sits on its $219.70 shelf, 28.9% above its 200-day on a 66.67% year; CoreWeave is -11.3% vs its 200-day on a -42.63% year; IREN, Cipher, Galaxy and TeraWulf left the momentum board under their 200-days | The focus lane is split as before; Nebius's shelf is the one level that matters, and no big event on either name is on file |
