How to Use This File

Adding a New Alert

When you (or Claude) identify an entry zone or price target:

  1. Add to Price Alerts table with source doc
  2. Include the reasoning so we can trace later

When an Alert Triggers

When price hits your alert level:

  1. Move from Price Alerts → Triggered Alerts (Archive)
  2. Decide: Buy, Pass, or Adjust
  3. If buying → Log in holdings/MOVES.md

Logging a Trade (Buy/Sell)

When you execute a trade:

  1. Update ACTIONS.md: Add to "Recent Moves" table
  2. Update holdings/MOVES.md: Full trade details
  3. Update holdings snapshot: Add to current holdings

Weekly Review

  1. Ask Claude: "refresh my actions" → aggregates from all scans
  2. Review triggered alerts
  3. Add post-mortems for completed trades
  4. Archive stale alerts

The Setup:

  • HBM thesis was correct - memory bottleneck for NVDA
  • Set mental alert at $300-350 entry zone
  • Price dropped to $320 range

What I Did:

  • Hesitated, waited for "better" entry
  • Never bought

What Happened:

  • MU bounced to $438 (+40%)
  • Missed the entire move

Why I Was Wrong:

  • Thesis was right, but I didn't follow my own entry zone
  • Waiting for perfection when "good enough" was there

Corrective Action:

  • When price hits entry zone AND thesis intact → BUY starter position
  • Don't wait for perfection
