Analysis

What Changed

  • IGV RSI 13 - Down from 14 yesterday. This is historically extreme. The 2022 bottom was around RSI 15-18.
  • SNOW -33.2% in 30 days - Data cloud in freefall, from $165 to $156 in one day
  • SKYY RSI dropped 2 points - Broadest ETF falling fastest now, infra names joining the selloff
  • No bounces sticking - Every ETF lower vs yesterday, no sign of a bottom yet

Entry Strategy Update

Given continued weakness and no sign of capitulation exhaustion:

Strategy Today If Lower
Conservative 30% IGV at $79.67 Add 20% at $72, 20% at $65
Aggressive 30% WCLD at $26.96 Add 20% at $24, 20% at $22
Stock picker SNOW at $156, ESTC at $57 Add on further weakness
Full conviction 30% split across IGV+WCLD DCA remaining 70% over 2 weeks

Catalysts to Watch

  • Cloud earnings (CRM, NOW, ADBE, SNOW all upcoming)
  • Fed rate decision language
  • Any positive AI monetization data from enterprise SaaS
  • Volume capitulation signal (high volume selling followed by reversal)

The Gold

The question is no longer IF these are oversold but WHEN they bottom.

  1. IGV RSI 13 is historically extreme. In the 2022 selloff, IGV bottomed around RSI 15-18. We are below that. Either this is worse than 2022 or we are very close to a bottom.
  2. SaaS leaders in freefall: CRM RSI 19, NOW RSI 27, SNOW RSI 18, WDAY RSI ~20. These are not speculative names - these are the enterprise software backbone.
  3. DOCN and CFLT divergence: The only two cloud names in green territory. DOCN +6.8% 30D while everything else craters. Worth understanding why.
  4. The ETF approach makes sense here because picking which SaaS name bounces first is a coin flip. IGV gives you ADBE + CRM + NOW + WDAY in one trade at RSI 13.
  5. Risk: No sign of a bottom yet. RSI can go lower. The 2008 analog would put these at RSI 8-10. Size positions accordingly.

Bottom line: IGV at RSI 13 with -32.5% from 52wk highs is the highest conviction trade on the board. DCA in, don't bet the farm on one entry.
